Comparaison 2025, Grand Palais, Paris. I showed Synapses, plotted in acrylic on canvas, in the Constructivism group: generative code meeting the geometric rules of the early 20th century avant-garde.

The Grand Palais was built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition. Hanging plotted lines in that building felt strange, in a good way.

JARA

JARA leads the Constructivism group. He took me in like I had always been part of it, and the rest of the group followed his lead.

Rebecca Chou

Rebecca Chou looked hard at my work and told me what she thought. She got what I was doing and still pushed me to refine it. That combination is rare. Those talks, and the ones with the other artists, are what I brought home.

Under the glass roof

My plotted lines, under the glass roof, in a room that has held some of the biggest shows in Paris. Generative art and pen plotting can hang in a traditional contemporary art show. I came back wanting to push the work further.
